Sunday Preview (March 8 edition)

Join us for worship tomorrow at 8:30am (yes, it's early, especially when it's the start of Daylight Savings Time and you don't go to bed an hour earlier as you always intend to ... but never do) and/or join us at 4:30pm for our afternoon service.

As part of our sermon series through the book of Genesis, we now turn to Genesis 35:1-15 to study the renewal of Jacob as he continues his journey into the land of promise. Check out the diagram from the Thomas Nelson Book of Bible Maps and Charts to get a sense of the spaces that Jacob was journeying through in these passages.

Our study of the 10 commandments will continue in our afternoon service and we will study Ephesians 5:1-5 and the Lord's call to relational and sexual purity in the midst of countless temptations and siren songs. The 7th commandment is simultaneously addressing what we must put away (all ungodliness and the lusts of the flesh) and what we must put on (holiness, purity, and sanctification in every part of our life).

A simple meal from the nourishing Word of God awaits! May the Lord bless you richly as you prepare for worship, either with us at Adoration or with believers elsewhere in churches scattered throughout the world.
