Prayer Request for a Sister Church in Regina, SK

By Henry Groen

This week our prayer support is for the Redeemer Reformation Church, and its pastor Rev. Brian Cochran in Regina Sask. This church plant and the pastor have been in our prayers to God a number of times before. The church plant is under the oversight of the consistory of Providence Reformed Church (URCNA) in Winnipeg MN. The church plant meets each Lord’s Day for Adult and Children Sunday School at 10 AM and for Worship at 11 AM. Rev. Cochran wrote: ”We also plan to add back our second service by September( possible before then). We went down to one service temporarily for various reasons. By God’s grace our prayers have been answered. God is growing the church and raising-up new office bearers. We are blessed to have a lot of visitors and new attenders over the past 6 months. We lately also have had other visitors from our community. It is amazing the potential for growth right now God has brought to our church! Pray that God adds to our church in His perfect timing. The steering committee continues to serve faithfully, and meets once every four to six weeks. It is made up of 4 local members, myself, and an elder and deacon appointed by the overseeing consistory. Pastor Cochran further wrote:” I am also thankful to God that He has sustained me for five years of ministry at Redeemer Reformation Church. I am thankful that God has sustained the work for all these years. Please pray that we will grow and soon organize as a church with local office bearers.
We greatly appreciate all the prayers and support from you, and our other brothers and sisters in Christ”
